Nice to meet you! My name is Richard Körber alias „Shred“, and I’m from Germany.

I am not a learned or professional author, but a software developer.

Part of my job involves writing documentation and concepts. This is where I discovered my interest in writing texts.

A few years ago, I started writing stories and learning about the subject. I was surprised at how many similarities there are between developing software and writing novels and short stories. Both require good preparation, a well-thought-out concept and a firm command of the (programming) language.

It is not my goal to become a good or famous book author. The market would be oversaturated anyway. Without exceptional talent and a certain amount of luck, it’s almost impossible for a newcomer to get a foot in the door.

No, my only goal is to have fun and learn something new. If others are happy with the result, then so much the better.
