eBooks
The stories are also available to download as eBooks. You can read them anytime and anywhere on your reading device.
Individual short stories can be downloaded via the download link on the respective story page. The Bookshelf also contains an up-to-date complete edition for download.
Of course, the eBooks are free of charge and may be passed on within the scope of the license.
The files are neither personalized, nor do they have a watermark or are DRM-protected.
Compatible eBook Readers
The files are available in the open ePUB format. Most eBook readers and reading apps for smartphones support this file format. You can then copy the files directly to the reader.
The Amazon Kindle does not support the ePUB format. You have the following options here:
- Use Calibre to upload the files via USB.
- Send the ePUB file by e-mail to your Kindle address. You can find a detailed description in the instructions for your Kindle.
- Use the Kindle app on your smartphone to send the ePUB file to your Kindle.
In any case, the book will be converted to another Kindle-compatible file format, which could affect the layout. Direct support for Kindle is not planned.
Hint
If you already have an older version of a book on your reader, delete it first before installing the latest version. This will ensure that the cache on the reader is deleted.
Otherwise, strange effects may occur, such as the cover image or individual book pages not being displayed.
